Boone T. Sommers is a multi-disciplinary theater artist based in New York City. Starting his acting journey at the local Children’s Theater of his hometown Knoxville, TN at the age of ten, Boone has been invested in theatrical performance for the better part of his life. He gravitates toward work that allows for boldness in both meaning and style. Taking characters that allow for transformative physicality or detailed self reflection. He believes his characters should encourage audiences to have pride in the parts of themselves that they deem ugly, unpredictable, or overly-specific.

Boone is a student of Fordham University’s acting program in the class of 2025. On top of his development as an actor, Boone has spent his time at Fordham discovering a new passion for Scenic design and carpentry. He is the son of a woodworker and has always taken great pride in his craftsmanship. He continues this lineage through his frequent work as a scenic carpenter both regionally and off-broadway as well as his time as a scenic designer at Fordham University.

His primary artistic goal is to lead a life in which he maintains the pursuit of theatrical truthfulness through acting and design, and the craft of carpentry through his builds both on and off of the stage.
